This course is a pragmatic, cost-effective approach for Generalists seeking to transform their self-awareness, confidence, and career.

 

Essentials Course Overview

Led by certified coaches who are also experienced Generalists, this course combines six 90-minute virtual group sessions with three 1:1 coaching sessions on course topics, career questions, and/or leadership challenges. Pre-work, new content, and opportunities for discussion, practice, and reflection are included. We celebrate accomplishments and lock in new connections at the end of the experience.

Objectives

  • Understand, embrace, and ground in Generalist attributes & individual strengths

  • Develop your narrative and confidently communicate your value as a Generalist 

  • Develop your career plan, including understanding the conditions for success that are unique to Generalists

  • Build community and network with other Generalists

  4. 1:1 Coaching Session

  5. Power of A Generalist - Understand the power and place of the Generalist, including how to customize a role to your strengths and the importance of networking and ongoing professional development.

  6. Pitfalls of Bing A Generalist - Learn strategies for anticipating and navigating common pitfalls for Generalists, including how to assess performance for a wide-ranging role and ensure credit for your accomplishments.

  7. Development & Growth - Identify areas for your professional focus and growth. Create a career plan.

  9. Celebrate your course accomplishments and strengthen your new connections.
